I’m excited to announce the launch of the Association of Marketing Leadership & Rigor. For short, we refer to the association simply as AMLR, pronounced am-LER. The mission of AMLR is to elevate the field of marketing by advocating for and by providing training and resources to business professionals.
Throughout my career, I have encountered a wide range of marketing backgrounds and expertise regardless of level in an organization. These experiences have revealed the need for a level of standardization that indicates a marketing professional has the skills and knowledge essential to succeed. This is why I decided to found the Association of Marketing Leadership & Rigor.
AMLR offers a comprehensive marketing certification program that will deliver standardization to the marketing profession, much like we see in a vast number of professions, from personal training to accounting. The program is called Practical Marketing Essentials or more succinctly, AMLR-PME. The AMLR-PME certification program is designed for three segments of business or soon-to-be business professionals.
For non-marketing business professionals, the program is excellent for those who are interested in transitioning into a marketing role or just those who desire to know more about the business function.
The AMLR-PME certification program is focused on the content contained in the Practical Marketing Essentials textbook. The program is offered in bundles that contain study materials such as flash cards, word match, and more. Additionally, as part of the bundle and serving the AMLR mission of providing training and resources, the bundles include a resume guide, an interview prep guide, as well as an ever-expanding set of skill-building content.
